Jewelry Care Tips

Longer necklaces are really in fashion right now.  And while you might get away with putting them on over your head without undoing the clasp for a while, eventually too much stress is going to be put on the connecting rings.  So do your necklaces and yourself a favor by having Gold Smith Jewelers check those connecting rings to make sure they have not worked themselves open.  Even a small gap can allow the rings to seperate!

Another thing that will happen, is that the longer necklaces can get caught on all sorts of things even when we just slightly bend over.  If that occurs, then we need to tighten up the connecting rings to make sure that the necklace doesn't come undone while you are wearing it.

Of course, when you bring your jewelry in for repair, we will clean it to bring back that great luster and sparkle!
